			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>A few months gone I was at my local watering hole enjoying my common wings and lager with my pals when a broadcast of UFC 101 comes on one gigantic screens. I am captivated by this sport, but not due to the brutality, or the sportsmanship these fellows display after thrashing the piss out of one another, but I&#8217;m captivated by the <a target="_self" href="http://www.truthaboutabbs.org">abs</a> these blokes have. Don&#8217;t get wrong, I&#8217;m not into men, but I am a 43 year old white collar type who is flabby enough to like these shredded up soldiers. Many years behind a desk, and skipping workouts to spend time with my youngsters, has actually taken a major toll on my once ripped physique. I continue to get to the gymnasium {, however ,} the everyday weight routine does little for a person of my age who produces a little part of the testosterone I once produced. I also attempted P90X, which was a great routine for losing weight ;  it became routine and unfullfilling for me after four months of doing this in my basement. <p> Monday : Muay Thai Class + Weights Tues. : Grappling ( Brazilian Jiu Jitsu ) wednesday : Muay Thai Class + Weights thursday : Grapping ( Brazilian Jiu Jitsu ) Fri. : Plyometric training **The Grappling classes kick off with a 30 minute military style fitness heat up, but I&#8217;m almost puking by the end of this routine.</p>
<p> Food Intake :</p>
<p> MMA requires ample food consumption, at least equivalent to 15 to eighteen times your body weight daily. For protein I multiply my weight by 1.25 for my daily consumption. I also keep a food book to self-police my food habits. Unlike true weight loss programs I gain a pound in the first month. My pants are getting loose so this is definitely a consequence of muscle mass gain and the fat is liquefying away.</p>
<p> Nutritional augmentation :</p>

<p> I wasn&#8217;t the type of person who would concern himself about getting healthy but as time went by I started seeing things about my body.  I spotted that the more i ignore my health the more fat I get in my body especially my belly.  I&#8217;d feel bad about myself each time I look into the mirror.  I also realized that, I&#8217;d get easily tired at work.  I can&#8217;t even lift 5 books without getting knackered.  Since I couldn&#8217;t take it anymore, I made up my mind to take action.  But my problem was I did not know where to begin.  It&#8217;s a generally accepted that if someone wants to lose some fat then he should exercise and that is what I did.  I tried exercising.  I first concentrated on heart exercises since they are the easiest to do for me.  I started with jogging then I steadily added other exercises in my routine such as swimming and cycling. </p>
<p> Even though I was starting to lose some fat in my body, I have a large belly and I would have liked to make it smaller.  Thank heavens I was ready to grab a book that talks about the basics of dieting. </p>
<p> It is saying that I didn&#8217;t have to reduce the amount of food that I eat ; I just have to eat the right sort of foods.  I stopped eating foods that are starchy and fatty.  I start putting more fruits, veggies and high fiber foods in my meals.  I was able to reduce the fats that I gain from eating and due to that, my energy levels increased.  Still obsessed about losing my belly, I began to read other books about fitness.  I learned that muscle exercises can help tone particular areas of the body.  So I thought that if I&#8217;d do some intestinal muscle exercise then I would be able to trim my tummy.  Since that point, I included some abdominal exercises in my exercise program.  I kept at it for two weeks till I noticed that my belly fat is starting to get smaller.  This went on till I have a  fascinating six pack. </p>
